AI is fast. It is not psychic. Wrong windows and invented spend produce confident nonsense.

Law. You supply period-aligned sales, spend, and margin. The model computes and drafts. If a number is missing, it must say so — never invent platform ROAS as Total ROAS.

Before you paste anything

  1. Write the date window at the top of your prompt.
  2. Paste totals or a small table — not screenshots of three different date pickers.
  3. State the sales basis: Total Sales or Net Sales.
  4. Add: “Do not invent numbers. If something is missing, ask.”
Refuse these asks “Build me true ROAS / MTA / pixel paths.” Rewrite to till questions: period Total ROAS, break-even, CSV QA, one allocation sentence.

Confirm whether they are period-aligned. If not, say exactly how to fix them.

2 · Total ROAS from pasted totals

Compute Total ROAS = Sales ÷ Ad spend for one period.
Use only the numbers I paste. Do not invent or pull external data.
If spend is 0 or missing, say you cannot compute.
