Last updated: July 28, 2026. Covers mcflyads.com, the downloadable calculator, and the Mcfly Analytics Shopify app (App Store Free when listed — not forever-free). These terms reduce ambiguity; they are not a substitute for legal advice. Have counsel review before relying on them in a dispute.
Plain-English summary
- Mcfly shows Total ROAS (sales ÷ ad spend) and break-even from your margin — informational, not financial or legal advice.
- App Store Free when listed is the primary path. Prefer email? Request a Install help (secondary). Install is free — target paid is $39/store/mo flat later via Shopify Billing, and we tell you the date and terms before anything bills. Not forever-free.
- No pixels, multi-touch attribution, or "true ROAS" — that's religion, not a missing feature.

Service
Mcfly Ads helps merchants compare advertising spend to sales (Total ROAS = sales ÷ spend for the same period), show break-even Total ROAS from margin, and offer rules-based allocation guidance. Insights are informational — not financial, legal, or investment advice. We do not sell path attribution, multi-touch “truth,” or pixel causality.
Accounts
You must have authority to connect the Shopify store and ad accounts you authorize. You are responsible for credential security and for the accuracy of margin and manual spend inputs.
Free launch
App Store Free when listed is the primary install path for Mcfly Analytics. Need help installing? Email support — we never put a public “type your .myshopify.com” form on this site. Free is time-boxed — not forever-free marketing. Target paid is $39/store/mo flat later via Shopify Billing; we notify before anything charges.
Acceptable use
Do not abuse APIs, reverse engineer beyond permitted law, resell access without agreement, or use the service to violate platform policies or applicable law.
Intellectual property
Mcfly’s Total ROAS desk, allocation guidance, cohort LTV methods, SAMPLE demo layouts, and related software are proprietary. The Free desk, public demo, and Pro UI are licensed for your authorized store use only. You may not copy, clone, scrape, or redistribute our proprietary logic, heuristics, dashboard setup, or non-public APIs to build a competing product. Feedback you send may be used to improve the service without obligation to you.
Data
Our Privacy policy describes how we handle data. You grant us a limited license to process store and ad data solely to provide the service.
Disclaimer
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant uninterrupted availability or that Total ROAS or allocation suggestions will achieve any business result. Platform-reported conversions may differ from Total ROAS by design — Mcfly measures sales against spend, not attributed click paths. You are solely responsible for advertising and business decisions.
Indemnity
You will defend and indemnify Mcfly and its operator against claims arising from your misuse of the service, your ad spend or margin inputs, your violation of these terms or Shopify/platform policies, or your infringement of third-party rights — except to the extent caused by our willful misconduct.
Limitation of liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MCFLY IS NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR LOST PROFITS, REVENUE, OR DATA. Mcfly’s total liability for claims relating to the service is limited to the greater of (a) fees you paid us in the three months before the claim, or (b) USD $50 if you used the free launch at no charge. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations — those limits apply only to the extent allowed. Nothing excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law (including for fraud or death/personal injury caused by negligence where such exclusion is void).
Termination
You may stop using the service and uninstall the Shopify app at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for abuse, non-payment (when Billing is active), security risk, or material breach. On uninstall / shop redact we delete merchant app data as described in Privacy.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts in Utah County, Utah are the exclusive venue for disputes, except where prohibited by mandatory consumer protection or privacy law in your jurisdiction.
Severability
If a provision is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. These terms are the agreement between you and Mcfly for the service, superseding prior conflicting site statements on the same topic.
